Headcount: 69 (+123%)
Specialism: Managed technology and cyber
HQ: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
The Companies House data we’re using does little justice to the enlarged scale of this acquisitive managed tech and cyber provider, which snapped up five peers in 2025 alone.
Although its average monthly headcount hit 69 in its year to 31 March 2025, that figure has since grown to 124, it told us.
One of three B Corps in this report, Redsquid recently unveiled ambitions to build a £50m-plus UK technology group (see Q&A with CEO Sohin Raithatha, below).

Q&A with Redsquid CEO Sohin Raithatha

How have you been able to increase headcount in a flat market)?
We’ve grown primarily through disciplined organic expansion, focusing not only on winning new customers but also on cross-selling additional services across our technology stack to existing clients. By deepening those partnerships and delivering more value across security, cloud and IT services, we’ve created sustainable demand-led growth. That approach has allowed us to invest confidently in talent even in a flat market.
What mega trend do you think will most shape the year for your company?
The accelerating shift towards secure, compliant cloud and AI-enabled services will shape the year for us significantly, particularly as organisations prioritise resilience, sovereignty and trust. Customers increasingly want partners who can integrate security, cloud and operational IT into a single strategy, rather than managing fragmented providers.
Which competitor or peer do you respect the most, and why?
We respect peers who consistently prioritise customer outcomes ahead of hype, particularly those willing to invest long-term in-service quality, reliability and trust. In our sector, the companies that build lasting reputations are those that focus on operational excellence rather than short-term growth.
What’s a fact or quirk about your company most people won’t know about?
We’re the UK’s only B Corp accredited MSSP that is also a Cyber Essentials certification body, while operating a security operations centre that supports platforms including Google, Microsoft and CrowdStrike. That combination of governance, operational security expertise and ethical accreditation is incredibly rare in our industry.
Does the rise of AI and automation make it less likely you’ll continue to add headcount at the same rate in the coming years?
AI and automation will absolutely change how companies scale. At Redsquid, we see them as powerful tools to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. They allow us to automate routine processes, respond faster to customer needs and scale services without necessarily adding headcount at the same rate. This enables our teams to focus on higher-value strategic work while maintaining strong growth.
Name one thing you have planned for the last 12 months
Over the past 12 months we’ve focused heavily on strengthening our core platforms and internal processes to improve the overall customer experience. This includes integrating our connectivity, security, cloud and IT service capabilities more closely so we can support clients across their entire technology environment and scale our services efficiently for the long term.
