Having launched in the UK in 2023, CoreTech now employs 2.5 staff here, with GFI Software representing its flagship vendor.
Counting “technology freedom” as a core principle, Italy-based CoreTech is 100% transparent about its financials (see here). Total revenues are on course to top €9m in 2025, with its UK subsidiary boasting trailing 12-month revenues of £604,000.
Country Manager Marino Vigliotti sees growing its own-brand cloud business here as a key priority for the next 12 months (see Q&A below).
“I don’t know many distributors who are actually also fully fledged cloud providers”

Quickfire Q&A with UK Country Manager Marino Vigliotti
What’s your top priority over the next 12 months?
Grow CoreTech’s Cloud Business in the UK.
What’s the most under-rated facet of your business?
Our own cloud services. I don’t know many distributors who are actually also fully fledged cloud providers with their own infrastructure. This allows CoreTech not to fully rely on distribution margins.
Name a vendor or technology area that’s been a hit for you in 2025
GFI Software
Are you expecting to grow in this calendar year?
Yes, we have a target of 30%.
What distribution news story most grabbed your attention in 2025?
The level of acquisition activity within the distribution space. I have also noticed that MSPs, as they grow, turn into VARs, as managing services for larger companies becomes more of an outsourcing.
3 of the 4 largest companies in this report have changed ownership in the last 12 months (or are about to). What does that say about the market?
When a distributor reaches a certain level, it becomes challenging to continue growing, so you either acquire other distributors (and then you need funds) or sell to another distributor.
How do you feel that one company featured in this report took out a full-page New York Times ad in March blasting the term ‘distributor’?
It is normal. Over the years, I have seen vendors, disties and VARs challenging the status quo, especially if one wants to be noticed. It is part of the game.
On a scale of 1-10, how optimistic are you about the IT distribution market right now?
8.
Because there are opportunities with AI, and there are requirements to help VARs and MSPs to change IT processes for their End Users. And position AI as an opportunity.
