Although Origin Storage’s last filed accounts for the year to 31 March 2024 show flattish revenues of £17.3m, its tally for its fiscal 2025 leapt to £24m, according to numbers it split out for us.
As well as distributing third-party brands, it sells own-branded SSDs and other hardware.

Origin Memory has just pipped the top spot so far in 2025 with nearly a 14% share of total revenue by category.
Are you expecting to grow in this calendar year?
Yes, we’re set for another monster year with 25% growth on our previous year’s results.

I think it says that the UK distribution market is strong and shows excellent opportunities for investment.
How do you feel that one company featured in this report took out a full-page New York Times ad in March blasting the term ‘distributor’?
Everyone’s allowed an opinion, but that doesn’t mean it’s right 😉
On a scale of 1-10, how optimistic are you about the IT distribution market right now?
Easy one, 10 – the market seems to of had a very strong summer and signs point to this continuing despite the usual Xmas “shortages”.
