Role: CEO, Trustmarque Ultima

What’s been your business high point of the last 12 months?

The merger – bringing together 1,000 incredible people to deliver more value to our customers.

Name one thing your company is looking to achieve in 2026

Arriving at Magazine London on 17 September and seeing the new Trustmarque Ultima brand for the world, to see at our annual Fusion event. That will be special!

What keeps you awake at night as a partner leader?

The speed of change in the tech industry has been increasing each year but in 2026, AI has moved at lightning speed. We have thousands of clients who rely on us to get the value from their tech but also to ensure it is secure and governed successfully.

Is AI being over-hyped?

No. The technology is moving at lightning speed. We have embedded AI into our day to day, but we know some customers are broadly behind the curve. We need to help our clients absorb the tech into their ways of working, deliver the value and successfully govern.

What’s been your most successful internal AI project to date, and why?

We started our AI journey on sales, and the uptake has been fantastic. There is now a catalogue of skills and agents supporting our entire salesforce.

Can you share a surprising prediction about how UK IT channel partners or the UK IT channel will evolve over the next 5 years?

I see the channel increasingly moving into the SI space. The technology is evolving to such an extent that a lot of the value can be delivered without an SI.

Which tech gizmo (hardware or software) could you not function without?

My Moleskin Smart notebook. I like handwriting notes and it feels more natural and present in a meeting than typing but has all the backup/ search/ saving capabilities.

Which three famous people, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party?

Stephen Fry, Nelson Mandela and Michelle Obama

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

Kindness costs nothing.

Which tech figurehead has impressed you the most this year, and why?

Satya Nadella – MSFT- AI and use of Anthropic is genius.
