Adam Binks said he has left “a solid legacy” at SysGroup as he delivered his final set of annual results for the AIM-listed MSP.
Having announced he is to step down last month, Binks’ final act as CEO was to unveil a 47 per cent hike in revenues to £21.65m for its year to 31 March 2023.
That was mainly thanks to acquisitions, with the contributions of recent purchases Truststream and Orchard supplementing 6% organic growth.
Managed IT services contributed £17.4m of the total, with VAR revenues more than doubling to £4.2m.
Binks billed it as a “challenging period with many external headwinds”, but said he was “delighted” to unveil a positive set of results “for the final time”.
“Whilst I am sad to be leaving the group, I am confident that now is the right time for me to step aside as I leave a solid legacy behind that allows the group to continue to grow,” said Binks, who had headed up SysGroup for six years.
“Adam has been central to the growth of the Company over the last nine years and I know I speak for all stakeholders by wishing him well for the future,” added Chairman Michael Edelson.
Effective as of today, Heejae Chae will take over the day-to-day running of the company in the role of Executive Chairman.
