Kite Distribution has added a Finnish cyber training specialist to its vendor ranks to satisfy rising demand for solutions that can mitigate human risk.
Hoxhunt, which bills itself as the “market leader” in security behaviour change and last May bagged $40m in Series B funding, has inked a UK & Ireland distribution deal with the VAD.
Founded in 2014, Leicester-based security specialist Kite works with 12 other vendors in the shape of Infoblox, Thales Cloud Security, Cynet, SolarWinds, CounterCraft, Corero Network Security, Entrust, Keysight Technologies, Wib, Appgate, Immersive Labs and Bitdefender MSP.
Kite said its latest signing will enable its partners to help UK companies reduce their cyber-risk at its greatest source, namely the human layer.
Hoxhunt’s security behaviour change technology is designed to cut organisations’ human-related risk with automated programmes that combine AI, behavioural science, game mechanics, and individualised and adaptive learning paths, to change attitudes towards risk with minimal operational effort.
“Having put Hoxhunt’s technology through its paces and compared it with market alternatives, we realised the full breadth and depth of the company’s security behaviour change capabilities that fill a strategically important cybersecurity market gap,” said Stuart Nairne-Clark, Business Development Director at Kite Distribution.
“We have seen an increasing demand for solutions which can more accurately and effectively mitigate human risk in recent times, and we look forward to partnering with Hoxhunt to meet this demand.”
