A Braintree-based IT recycling and reuse company and nearby media publisher are aiming to prove the only way is Essex when it comes to IT lifecycle services.
KOcycle and IT Channel Oxygen are linking arms to bring the market exclusive content over the next 12 months.
Founded in 2018 by Oli Mason, KOcycle marks itself out from competitors with its outcome-based approach.
Based in nearby Colchester, IT Channel Oxygen has been closely following developments in the IT lifecycle services and second-user market since its launch in July 2023.
“Although neither Oli nor I are true North Essex boys, we’re both proud supporters of our adopted home of Constable landscapes, Icenian history and 90s Britpop icons,” IT Channel Oxygen editor Doug Woodburn stated.
“KOcycle is bringing an outcome-led approach to a market VARs and MSPs haven’t yet fully tapped into, while IT Channel Oxygen is looking to inject a sense of excitement back into a staid UK IT channel media.”
KOcycle and IT Channel Oxygen look forward to bringing the market exciting news, interviews and events throughout the course of 2025.

“We’re delighted to have teamed up with IT Channel Oxygen who have become the go to name for publishing sustainability led tech content,” Mason stated.
“We both believe in a better tomorrow and know technology can be a huge part of that. Turning the world’s fastest growing waste stream into a force for good is a must and by partnering together we know the impact we can have across the channel landscape.”
“KOcycle has made plain its ambitions to build a market leader in IT lifecycle services following its black-and-white rebrand,” Woodburn added.
“We both believe recycling and reuse deserves more coverage in the IT channel press. This promises to be a powerhouse partnership from two Essex-based pioneers.”
