FluidOne claims its revenues have hit £113m following its ninth acquisition since its 2019 MBO.
The Livingbridge-backed outfit has purchased Orca IT, a Lancashire-based IT MSP with around 40 staff, according to its latest accounts.
With a heritage in connectivity, FluidOne claims the addition of Orca means over 50% of its revenue streams come from IT and cyber.
It ranked 69th in Oxygen 250.
Orca marks FluidOne’s first deal since it vowed to “treble in size” in June after scooping a long-term refinancing package with Pemberton Asset Management.
It now employs 540 people across nine office locations.
Co-founded by Managing Director Mark Tunstall and Technical Director Alex Pimperton, Orca claims to specialise in delivering end-to-end managed IT services, support, hosted desktop, cloud solutions and strategic guidance.
Its vendor partners include Microsoft, Barracuda, Duo Security, Exclaimer and Bitdefender.
“I couldn’t be more pleased that Mark, Alex and the team at Orca are joining FluidOne, building on our strategic, long-term growth strategy,” FluidOne CEO Russell Horton (pictured top, second from left) stated.
“Orca is a great business that matches the values and vision FluidOne has established and strives for. We’re delighted to bolster our IT Centre of Excellence with its expertise and to provide support for Orca’s team to scale their business and deliver wider FluidOne offerings to their customers.”
