A former high-flying Citrix exec has been appointed to lead UK MSP Redcentric.
Michelle Senecal de Fonseca will succeed long-time leader Peter Brotherton in the hotseat of the Harrogate-based outfit, which this morning also revealed a jump in annual sales and profits.
Her arrival follows an aborted CEO handover at the start of the year.
Redcentric saw revenues rise 4.2% to £170m in its year to 31 March 2025, according to a pre-close trading update issued this morning. Adjusted EBITDA also bounced 31% to £37m.
The AIM-listed outfit – which ranked 27th in the recent Oxygen 250 2025 – put this down partly to M&A, as well as enhanced operational efficiencies.
Redcentric has two distinct divisions in the shape of an MSP arm that acts as an outsourced IT department to private and public sector customers, and a datacentre arm encompassing eight “well-invested datacentres” with 41MW of available capacity.
While complex and challenging, efforts to separate the two businesses during the year were “essential” to the company’s future, Redcentric said.
Redcentric in January announced plans for former Capita, Tata and Vodafone exec Brian Woodford to take the reins from Brotherton following a two-month transition period. But Brotherton – who had been CEO since 2018 – agreed to stay on slightly longer than anticipated after CEO Designate Woodford opted to step down for “personal reasons”.
Rise in female CEOs
A non-exec at Redcentric since February 2024, Senecal de Fonseca served as a high-ranking exec at Citrix, most recently as its Global Vice President for Strategic Alliances. After Citrix she had a spell as Managing Director for Vodafone’s Cloud and Hosting Services business.

Senecal de Fonseca is just the latest in a spate of female CEO appointment at Oxygen 250 UK resellers and MSPs. Last year saw Bytes Technology Group, CDW UK, Avanade UK, inTEC and Littlefish all appoint female leaders, with Kocho moving to appoint Hannah Birch as its new CEO in February.
“Whilst the Board joins me in welcoming Michelle to her new role as CEO, they would also like to thank Peter for his strong leadership to date and we are pleased that he will remain with the Company for a period of time as a strategic advisor and support a seamless transition of CEO duties,” Richard McGuire, Chairman of Redcentric stated.
“I look forward to working with Michelle who has significant sector experience. In FY26, our aim is to build on the strong foundations laid during the year, to accelerate organic growth, streamline operations, and enhance returns for our shareholders.”
