Role: Group CEO and acting UK CEO, Advania
What’s been your business high point of the last 12 months?
Externally I would like to highlight the record high “Net Promoter Score” across all geographers from our customers and the good traction we have on the group wide AI offering. Internally we have just received the high engagement score (4.3) across our 5,000 employees.
Name one thing your company is looking to achieve in 2026
Continue to stay true to our customer promise and achieve our financial targets based on that.
What keeps you awake at night as a partner leader?
Honestly, it’s talent. Having the best people on board, keeping them engaged, and ensuring we’re continuously developing the skills we’ll need for the future. Everything else becomes much easier when you have the best people. And of course, the geopolitical situation.
Is AI being over-hyped?
In the short term, probably. In the long term, AI may actually be under-hyped.
What’s been your most successful internal AI project to date, and why?
Our most successful internal AI initiative has been the deployment of AI-powered assistants embedded directly into our core business processes across service delivery, sales, and software development. We have also implemented AI-driven automations across support functions, reducing manual work and freeing up capacity across the organisation. The key to success has been integrating AI into everyday workflows rather than treating it as a standalone initiative. As a result, we are already seeing measurable efficiency gains, improved productivity, and scalable benefits across multiple business areas.
Can you share a surprising prediction about how UK IT channel partners or the UK IT channel will evolve over the next 5 years?
By 2031, the most valuable UK channel partners won’t primarily be selling technology; they’ll be selling accountability. Customer intimacy will remain just as important as it is today, but it will be enhanced and scaled through the smart use of AI, enabling partners to deliver stronger business outcomes and greater value.

ChatGPT, Claude & my iPhone.
Which three famous people, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party?
Satya Nadella, Nicolai Tangen (CEO Norwegian Bank Investment Management) and Meryl Streep.
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
Direct and biased towards action. Expect things to move quickly.
Which tech figurehead has impressed you the most this year, and why?
Jensen Huang (NVIDIA). He has become the critical infrastructure provider for the AI boom and he has managed to turn a HW-company into one of the most strategically important firms in the world.
