Role: CEO, Chorus

What’s been your business high point of the last 12 months?

Doubling our channel managed security services revenue in a single year. That growth is a real testament to the team and the trust that our partners and customers place in us.

Name one thing your company is looking to achieve in 2026

Embedding AI meaningfully across our business so that it is a genuine enabler for our people and a differentiator for our customers.

What keeps you awake at night as a partner leader?

Pace versus prudence with AI. The tension between moving fast enough to be leading from the front and being responsible enough to not create new risks. It’s a constant balance that’s hard to get it right.

Is AI being over-hyped?

Not anymore. Early on, I think it was all noise and novelty, which gave AI a bit of a bad rep. Now I believe it’s a genuine gamechanger.

What’s been your most successful internal AI project to date, and why?

Building a customer-facing portal. We pulled in data from different solutions, surfaced the useful content into a modern app and delivered a production-ready portal in days. That kind of pace would never have been possible without AI.

Can you share a surprising prediction about how UK IT channel partners or the UK IT channel will evolve over the next 5 years?

Five years might as well be a lifetime right now. I honestly couldn’t predict it. I do think organisations that embrace AI early but retain their culture, personality and values will win overall.

Which tech gizmo (hardware or software) could you not function without?

Answering truthfully – Alexa Shopping Lists. It’s not glamorous, but it’s one of the things that helps keeps the chaos of daily life in check.

Which three famous people, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party?

Queen Nefertiti, Johnny Depp and President Zelensky.

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

“Zero comfort zones…not here for average, challenges everything.”

Which tech figurehead has impressed you the most this year, and why?

Meredith Whittaker, president of Signal. As an advocate of ethical AI, privacy and online safety I think she has done lots to show that innovation and ethical responsibility can go hand in hand.
