ITGUYS bagged B Corp status in May 2024.
In business since 2005, the IT support specialist claims it has resolved over 15,000 tickets and served 93 small businesses and charities. It employed an average of five staff in its fiscal 2024, accounts indicate, and also has an office cat (see here).
“My challenge as the founder and CEO of ITGUYS was how to embrace the desire to address the environmental issues that my business is a part of,” CEO Ben Schneider said of his rationale for pursuing the certification.
“I wish everyone were following this lead to help combat the world challenges we face. Still, we want to lead the charge on this and become evangelists in sustainable IT solutions, ensuring that our operations contribute positively to the planet and our community,” he added.
