QBS Software claims it has solidified its position as the “largest channel-only online software marketplace” after signing its 12,000th vendor.
The London-based distributor aims to help partners navigate and source niche and specialised software solutions, a task it says has been made more pressing by a surge in “weirdware”.
It ranked 12th in IT Channel Oxygen’s recent 50 Must-Know UK IT Distributors.
QBS’ 12,000th vendor was Brightly Software, a Siemens-owned enterprise asset management tool.
“This milestone is a testament to our commitment to streamlining software procurement for our partners,” stated Andreea Dumitrescu, Managing Director UKI at QBS Software.
“With our best-in-class API library and dedicated teams across London, Paris, and Munich, supported by nearly 100 professionals in Johannesburg, we’re setting the standard for service and technical excellence in the industry.”
The milestone comes after QBS hired two industry stalwarts to its board in the form of former Computacenter UK and Westcoast MDs Kevin Matthews and Alex Tatham.
Supercharged by international M&A, QBS’ total revenues hit £206m in its fiscal 2024.
