Nasstar’s former CEO and MD have reunited at a security operations outfit gunning for “significant growth”.

Mark Lee was today formally unveiled as Sales Director of Fareham-based NormCyber, which provides cyber managed services to enterprise customers.

He was previously MD of giant Microsoft partner Nasstar, which NormCyber CEO Wayne Chuchill helmed between 2019 and 2022.

According to its latest accounts filed on Companies House, NormCyber employed an average of 54 staff in its most-recent year. It claims to have clients in sectors including finance, banking and insurance, logistics and supply chain, and retail and consumer goods.

Since joining Norm, Lee has already made a series of appointments designed to strengthen Norm’s new accounts business and has restructured the sales organisation according to geographic focus.

In a press release, Lee said he was familiar with NormCyber’s services through Nasstar’s security consultancy and had worked closely with its leaders “going back as far as 15 years”.

“I have long regarded Norm as a company to watch, so I am excited to join it at such a pivotal moment of its evolution,” he stated.

“Mark’s experience and expertise makes him the ideal leader to scale Norm’s sales operations,” Churchill added.

“Having worked with large enterprises, Mark fully understands the clarity and confidence business leaders seek in their cyber resilience, and his vision for the company mirrors that of our own. We are pleased to have him on board as we navigate this next phase of growth.”
