A £100m-revenue-chasing MSP has hinted at the possibility of further M&A activity after taking on a new CFO.
Styling itself as “the North West’s largest privately held IT support provider”, commited has enlisted former babble Finance Director Anja Berg to the new role.
The Runcorn-based outfit this summer revealed it intends to acquire another “20-plus” peers after rebranding from Hudson Hill.
Berg – who spent the previous five years at tech-and-talk roll-up babble – brings “extensive experience” in M&A activity, commited noted in its press release.
“We’ve built a business with big ambitions, but growth for growth’s sake has never been the goal. It’s about building a stronger business that delivers more for our customers and creates opportunities for our people,” CEO Ian Hudson stated.
“Anja joins us at an important point in that journey. Strong financial leadership is fundamental to delivering our ambitions, and we’re delighted to welcome her to the team.”
Boasting more than 2,500 customers and offices across the North West, Cumbria and West Yorkshire, commited is on course to turn over £25m this year, it told us.
It today reiterated its ambition to become a “£100m business”.
“commited has a clear ambition and an exciting opportunity ahead,” Berg said.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team, building on what’s already been achieved and helping shape the next chapter of the business, particularly pulling on my depth of experience around M&A.”
