IT Channel Oxygen’s Century’s 30 Greatest Vendor Leaders project was compiled in partnership with QBS Software.
Here its CEO, Dave Stevinson, explains why the software delivery platform supported the project…
It gives me great pleasure for QBS Software to be official sponsors of the IT Channel Oxygen‘s ‘Century’s Greatest Vendor Leaders’.
I strongly believe that great leaders bring about exceptional results through their clarity of vision, ability to build collaboration around that goal and execution ability. This is made even more challenging in the technology sector, whereby a rapid pace of innovation requires leaders to build ambitious growth strategies that in some cases goes beyond the seemingly possible.
As valued analysts and partners within channel we find ourselves in the optimum position to watch leaders at work, and therefore have the unique opportunity to identify a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ or ‘iconic’ leader. We also get to work with an array of incredible talent and so I find it incredibly exciting to witness first-hand our channel’s leaders opine on who the greatest ever tech leader is and how they came to claim that title.
As for our reasons for supporting this research, leadership development is becoming increasingly important within QBS, and I am hoping that we can learn from these findings. Our brand-new Learning Experience Platform – QBS Academy, has been launched to allow future leaders to live up to their potential and grow professionally and personally with our support.
