Bechtle will apply the same growth formula to €30m-revenue Irish acquisition ITQuotes as it did to Tangible Benefit, its UK&I leader has revealed.
Mainland Europe’s largest reseller this morning announced it has acquired Dublin-based VAR ITQuotes.
The deal will push Bechtle’s Irish revenues north of €70m and is “another milestone in our UK&I journey towards £1bn,” James Napp, Regional Director UK&I said in a post on LinkedIn.
Bechtle will repeat the growth formula it used for 2023 UK acquisition Tangible Benefit by cross-selling its “ever-developing UK&I portfolio” into ITQuotes, Napp said in further comments to IT Channel Oxygen.
London-based VAR Tangible Benefit was the largest of a string of early-decade UK purchases by Germany-based Bechtle, whose total top line hit €8.6bn last year.
Since January 2025, Bechtle’s Irish business has fallen under Napp’s remit.
“We feel strongly we can repeat the success we have achieved since acquiring Tangible Benefit in the UK, where we have doubled the business over a three-year period,” said Napp, who has spoken recently about Bechtle’s renewed M&A ambitions.
“Those customers are now consuming more of our technology pillars and benefitting from additional pre-and post-sales resources, not least across cyber security, infrastructure, cloud and software.”
Boasting around 20 employees, ITQuotes specialises in IT procurement, hardware, software and deployment services for enterprise and public-sector customers.
Founders and co-owners Joe Finucane and Brian Lehane will remain with the company for a period to support the integration process.
“For many years, we have pursued a clear goal: helping our customers source technology more easily, quickly and efficiently,” Finucane stated.
“In Bechtle, we have found the ideal partner to continue that journey, united by a strong customer focus, shared values and a long-term perspective on business.”
