“I’m with George Kurtz on this one”

Are new AI tools like Claude Code Security a threat to cybersecurity vendors? Should CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Okta and Zscaler be worried?
I’m with George Kurtz on this one.
We’ve been using ML and AI to create better outcomes for our clients for the last couple of years and to good effect.
It’s made us faster, more efficient and taken away some of the entry-level workloads.
But then so have the threat actors; they have also used AI to make things faster, more efficient and lowered the barrier to entry.
AI is behind the 10x increase in phishing. We’ve seen the first instances of AI-generated malware communicating back to the mothership to adapt in real time when we contain it…
Claude Code Security is a great development and solutions which creates defence in depth, and a blend of well-integrated security tooling is still the right answer.
Cyber is full of ‘silver bullet’ solutions, all of which provide only a partial answer.
So I don’t see the growth in the need for good cyber defence and resilience slowing any time soon.
