UK channel partners have gone appointment potty, with four leading outfits announcing senior exec shuffles already this month.

Claranet, BCN, Arc and Truly SMB have all rung the changes since the start of November.

Having launched Truly SMB in February, Vicky Critchley is now passing the CEO baton to Tim Rookes.

The Midlands-based outfit, which is on a mission to “make enterprise-level Microsoft tech and AI work for real, growing SMBs”, has around 300 customers.

Rookes was previously Chief Experience Officer and before that was CEO of predecessor company True MSP.

Critchley – who is known for building Bam Boom Cloud and selling it to Pax8 – will now become Executive Chair.

“Stepping into the Chair role lets me focus on our big picture – strategy, vision and brand – while continuing to work closely with the team and our customers,” Critchley stated.

Elsewhere, 400-employee Microsoft-focused partner BCN announced a new CFO in the latest addition to its exec line-up.

“BCN’s growth trajectory and investor backing present a compelling opportunity to contribute meaningfully,” Jo Seymour said as she took the financial reins of the Manchester-based, ECI Partners-backed business.

Seymour’s appointment follows the arrival of Mike Sanderson and Victoria Jackson in the roles of COO and Chief People Officer in March 2025 and September 2024, respectively.

She was previously CFO at technology-led environmental consultancy Lucion Group.

Ranking 100th in Oxygen 250 2025, acquisitive BCN’s more recent purchases include CMI in 2023 and Prestige Logic in 2025. It claims to have 1,600 customers.

Claranet changes tune with new CFO

Globetrotting, UK-based MSP Claranet is another to indulge in a spot of exec musical chairs at the start of November, as it too announced a new CFO.

Sudhersan Ramasamy takes has taken the financial reins of the Microsoft and AWS partner, having previously held several finance senior leadership roles at Vodafone.

He will pull the purse strings of a global MSP with 3,300 staff and €600m revenues, and which ranked 42nd in Oxygen 250 2025.

“Sud’s leadership will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy for the future,” purred Claranet CEO Charles Nasser.

Arc extends gangway to new CTO

Also replenishing its leadership line-up was Essex-based MSP Arc, which unveiled Mark Darrah as its new CTO.

Darrah founded NITC, one of four businesses Arc has acquired since snaring private equity backing from Beech Tree in 2023.

He succeeds Matt Clayden, who is stepping aside after 25 years.

Arc announced its latest acquisition in January 2025 in the form of SharePoint specialist Perspicuity.

It now claims to have over 150 staff across four UK locations, and over 1,000 customers. Its stomping ground encompasses desktop support to hybrid cloud, data centre hosting and IT strategy, through to Public cloud (Azure), SharePoint, Power Apps, AI and Purview.

“During the past two years, our business has changed significantly with three varied acquisitions,” stated Arc CEO James Clayden.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Mark as our new CTO; his leadership, vision and deep understanding of the MSP landscape will be instrumental as we continue to expand our services and deliver exceptional value to our clients.”
