Hayley Mooney is to return to Bytes in the role of Chief Commercial Officer, IT Channel Oxygen can reveal.

Mooney is leaving her current role as UK General Manager of Crayon after six years at the software licensing and SAM outfit, Crayon CEO Melissa Mulholland confirmed on LinkedIn this morning.

She is set to take up her new role at Bytes in July.

In her LinkedIn post, Mulholland issued here “heartfelt thanks” to Mooney, adding that she is “proud of her, as she’s been able to grow her career and create a positive impact on the UK team”.

“Hayley leaving Crayon is, of course, bittersweet because she’s going to be missed, but at the end of the day we are proud of her accomplishments,” she wrote.

Mooney spent five-and-a-half years at Bytes between 2007 and 2012, latterly as its Head of Solutions.

She is also one of the key names behind Tech Channel Ambassadors, a new Community Interest Company seeking to attract a wider array of talent into the UK IT channel.

“I am looking forward to returning to Bytes, and will start there in July. For now, I’m going to enjoy some garden leave and family time,” Mooney told IT Channel Oxygen.

“We are thrilled to welcome Hayley to our team,” said Jack Watson, Managing Director at Bytes.

“Her visionary approach, strategic mindset, and passion for excellence align perfectly with our company’s values and objectives. We are confident that her appointment will propel us to new heights and reinforce our position as an industry leader.”
