4. Five execs exit – start of December 2026
The IT Channel Oxygen newsdesk kicked into overdrive on 3 December after sources contacted us to say they’d heard Exertis UK had removed almost an entire layer of top execs.
COO Michael Sudlow, Chief Commercial Officer Phillip Turner and Chief People and Inclusion Officer Jo Lawrence were among five leaders known to have left.
The boardroom bloodbath was a harbinger for the hefty cutbacks that were about to occur across the wider Exertis UK and Exertis Supplies business.
“If you think of the business and vendors they’ve lost, and the challenges they’ve been having over the last three months, I don’t think it was a sustainable business [in its current form],” one source told us at the time.
