Flotek has selected a Scottish network infrastructure specialist it “already knew and trusted” as its third acquisition of 2026.
Fife-based Comvista marks Flotek’s 17th acquisition since the £100m-chasing MSP was founded in 2022.
Identified as the UK’s fastest-growing MSP in Oxygen Fast-Growth 50 2026, Flotek is aiming to hit a revenue runrate of £23m this year.
CEO Jay Ball co-founded the Cardiff-based MSP in 2022 after spotting “a massive gap in the UK where comms and IT just weren’t joined up”, he told IT Channel Oxygen in March.
Comvista marks Flotek’s third purchase of 2026 following its swoop on Hampshire-based FlexiNet in February and London-based Clear Telecoms in July.

Based in Glenrothes, Fife, Comvista provides network infrastructure, structured cabling, optical fibre, connectivity and communications services to organisations across Scotland and the wider UK.
Comvista Networks Director Neill Ferguson, who began his telecommunications career as an engineer with BT, said he has “known and worked with Flotek for some time”, adding that “our businesses share a practical approach to looking after customers and delivering projects properly”.
“Comvista is a business we already know and trust,” Ball concurred in a canned statement.
“We’ve worked with Neill and the team on projects in the north for a fair while, so we’ve seen first-hand the knowledge, experience and quality they bring to technically demanding infrastructure work.”
Generating around 60% of its business from IT and 40% from comms, Flotek is gunning for £100m under a ten-year growth plan, Ball said.
