Google’s self-styled “largest dedicated partner” in Europe has changed its name for a second time inside 19 months, rebranding from Qodea to Beyond.
The Manchester-based outfit this morning announced it is taking the moniker of the US firm it acquired last July.
It only rebranded as Qodea in September 2024 following the 2023 union of similar-sized Google partners Cloud Technology Solutions and Appsbroker.
Talking to IT Channel Oxygen at the time of the Beyond deal, CEO Alan Paton described it as a “very interesting change for us as a business”.
Beyond’s clients included Google, Snap and Meta, enabling Qodea to expand its client base into big tech and AI.
In a LinkedIn post this morning, Paton said the name change reflects “how far we have come and where we are heading next”.
“Over the past 18 months, the business has grown rapidly, and so has our ambition,” he wrote.
“We all know that Enterprise transformation is changing fast. Clients want evidence, clarity, and engineering that delivers real outcomes – not just advice. Beyond is built to address this new reality, and our clarity of purpose is how we consistently create a measurable advantage for our clients.”
Billing itself as “Europe’s largest dedicated Google-first partner, Marlin Equity Partners-backed Beyond claims to have almost 700 Google Cloud expert engineers across Europe and North America.
Ranking 23rd in Oxygen 250 2026, Beyond will position itself “between niche specialists and global technology consultancies”.
It will continue to operate as ‘Qodea, powered by Beyond’ in select European markets.
