Role: Co-founder and MD, Commercial
What’s been your business high point of the last 12 months?
Opening our £1.6m Centre of Excellence has been very rewarding. We created it to show clients what’s possible when workplace technology, sustainability and managed services are designed around people. Being recognised as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work in the same year feels like a strong validation of that vision.
Name one thing your company is looking to achieve in 2026
A core goal this year is to deepen relationships with existing customers by bringing more of our expertise into each partnership. The biggest opportunities for customers and suppliers lie in integrated approaches that deliver measurable business value.
What keeps you awake at night as a partner leader?
Global uncertainty can be distracting if you let it. But I’ve learned that difficult periods often create the biggest opportunities. So rather than battening down the hatches, we continue to invest in our people and the future of our business.
Is AI being over-hyped?
No. There is a lot of noise around AI, both positive and negative, but it is already helping businesses work smarter and more sustainably. The key is to focus on practical applications rather than the hype.
What’s been your most successful internal AI project to date, and why?
Our biggest success has been using AI agents to improve quality and efficiency across multiple areas of the business. By automating routine tasks and supporting decision-making, we’ve enabled our people to focus more time and energy on higher-value work for clients.
Can you share a surprising prediction about how UK IT channel partners or the UK IT channel will evolve over the next 5 years?
I think we’ll move from charging models based on devices or tickets towards outcome-based partnerships. As AI becomes embedded in the workplace, customers will increasingly expect providers to be accountable for productivity and business outcomes, not just technology performance.
Which tech gizmo (hardware or software) could you not function without?
I’m not a gadget person, but online shopping apps have become dangerously convenient. The ability to buy something you didn’t know you needed in seconds is probably something I should try to function without.
Which three famous people, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party?
Beyoncé because she’s my girl crush. David Attenborough for the stories and wisdom. And Jamie Oliver because every dinner party needs a great chef.
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
Handle with care: passionate, determined and occasionally explosive.
Which tech figurehead has impressed you the most this year, and why?
Satya Nadella. Microsoft is one of the few companies that has been able to move beyond AI hype and demonstrate real business value at scale. Its focus on embedding AI into everyday tools rather than treating it as a standalone technology has been particularly impressive.
