Deals announced in 2024: Total Computers (January)
Appetite for M&A
Buying £90m-revenue Total Computers in January propelled this public sector reseller’s revenue runrate to around £650m, CEO Phil Doye told IT Channel Oxygen.
Following the deal, Doye revealed he is keen to continue investing in the channel both privately and through boxxe.
He drew an analogy with CloudClevr backer Rigby Technology Investments and SCC.
“Rigby Group [have] CloudClevr, because they like the channel,” Doye said.
“I’m very bullish on the channel. So you’re likely to see more investments, either through boxxe, or directly by me personally.”
What they said
“The days of me rifle shooting private companies investments operating in areas like fishing apps and vertical farms for the home are thankfully behind me.”
Fun fact
Doye once nearly bought a Mopane worm farm.
