Size: 52 staff, £13.1m revenues

Acquirer: YFM Equity Partners

Rationale

YFM’s investment in this £13m-revenue network, connectivity and cyber specialist will “support its next phase of growth”, the private equity house claimed.

Lancaster-based TNP specialises in designing, implementing, and managing critical ICT network infrastructure.

The transaction facilitates an MBO led by MD Scott Daniels and Technical Director Robin Williams. Former Nasstar CEO Nigel Redwood also joined as Chair as part of the investment.

Noteworthy nugget

TNP was formed in 2012 by staff from LUNS Ltd (Lancaster University Network Services). Both Daniels and Wiliams graduated from Lancaster University in 2004 with degrees in Computer Science.
