Q1 deals: Cloud Business Ltd

M&A agenda

This acquisitive SAP partner gained around 90 more employees when it gobbled business consulting, digital transformation, and IT managed services leader Cloud Business Limited in February.

Poole-based Codestone claims it has trebled turnover since taking on FPE Capital as its private equity backer in 2021. It ranked 200th in the recent Oxygen 250.

The Cloud Business deal, which is designed to boost its Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cybersecurity skills, follows on from its 2022 purchases of Clarivos and DSCallards.

What they said

“We unlock innovation and free up budget for our customers to reinvest. Cloud Business enables us to do this for more customers in a broader way with a strong cultural fit aligned to our core values,” – Darryl Sackett, CEO of Codestone Group

Dazzling detail

“Leading Codestone has been a journey of pride and fulfilment,” outgoing CEO Jim Bucknell said in October as he handed the reins to Sackett. He co-founded Codestone in 1997.
