The Channel Recruiter is aiming to break the mould when it comes to how MSPs and VARs source technical contractors by launching a new service in partnership with Nebula Global Services.
‘Tech Talent on Tap’ marks the IT channel recruitment agency’s entry into the contractor space.
The service is backed up by channel services provider Nebula Global Services, which claims to have access to a global ecosystem of 7,400-plus technical and service delivery specialists.
This means The Channel Recruiter can offer MSPs and VARs a wrap-around managed service over the technical staff they take on, Sales Director Ben Vernon said.
“Our competitors will provide a contractor at a day rate over a specified term,” he explained.
“But we now have this ability, backed by Nebula, to either look at ones and twos or provide a full wraparound service.
“The uniqueness [from an agency perspective] is being able to provide that full service, rather than just a technical contractor.”

In a statement, Ross Teague, Founder and CEO of Nebula Global Services, added: “As pioneers in our respective domains, this strategic alliance sets a bold new benchmark for the global technology channel.”
Founded in 2021 by Zoe Chatley, The Channel Recruiter recently unveiled ambitions to become the channel’s “number-one” recruiter.
Until now it has focused on permanent recruitment.
Chatley said the Nebula partnership means the two companies are “doubling up” on their ability to serve their MSP and VAR customers.
“We’ve got more potential to solve resourcing problems more quickly,” she said.
Tech Talent on Tap is the first of three subscription-based product suites The Channel Recruiter intends to launch as it looks to “productise” its recruitment offering, Vernon revealed.
“We’re trying to modernise and simplify the recruitment services you can get from us,” he said.
“We can become a one-stop-shop for an organisation to cover their full talent piece, not just what recruitment is sometimes seen for – which is body shopping.”
