Richard Behan will bid farewell to CAE Technology Services at the end of 2025 following its sale to boxxe.

boxxe snapped up CAE in July as part of owner Phil Doye’s ambitious plans to build a £1bn-revenue business.

In a LinkedIn post, CAE COO Behan branded it a “big day for me” as he announced his impending departure.

Having joined CAE in 2004 as Major Accounts and Marketing Director, Behan became a co-owner of the Hemel Hempstead-based outfit in 2018 via an MBO, alongside CEO Justin Harling.

Behan has spent recent weeks helping the team with the acquisition and early stages of the integration, he revealed.

Behan listed helping CAE become one of Cisco’s top partners – a key attribute cited by boxxe in its rationale for buying the £160m-revenue business – as among his highlights in the role.

“As for my future plans? Well, the first thing is to take a break – which I haven’t done in too many years. After that, let’s see where the road leads me next,” Behan stated.
