Cyberfort is targeting “significant organic and inorganic growth” under newly appointed CEO Glen Williams.

Former North CEO Williams replaces founder Andy Hague at the helm of the Palatine-backed secure cloud hosting and cybersecurity solutions and services outfit.

Claiming that its datacentres can “literally withstand an army”, Cyberfort was built on the acquisitions of The Bunker, Agenci and Auriga.

It hailed former Damovo, Dell, Computacenter and Lenovo luminary Williams’ “broad experience in global IT and strategic partnerships”.

Having led Sandwich-based Cyberfort from “initial idea through to £24m revenue”, Hague will move to the role of Company Founder and Executive Director,

Williams stated: “I am very excited to be joining Cyberfort at this pivotal time in the evolution of the business.

“I am convinced that the combination of Cyberfort’s cyber and cloud expertise and passion for delivering great service will enable us to not only grow significantly but also to provide customers with the end-to-end solutions that meet and exceed their needs.”

Targeting ‘significant organic and inorganic growth’

Williams was previously the CEO of IoT and smart buildings specialist North. Before this he led the sale of Damovo in 2018, Cyberfort noted.

“We are targeting significant organic and inorganic growth over the coming years,” Cyberfort Chair, Mark Silver said.

“With Glen’s track record in the industry and Andy’s commercial relationships and huge market understanding, combined with Cyberfort’s position as a leading cybersecurity provider, the business is well placed to achieve its strategic goals and build on the foundations created by Andy and the team over the last six years.

“I am also delighted that Andy will remain on the Board to help drive growth in key strategic areas and am very excited about the prospects for the business in the future”.
