Pax8’s Daisy Pike was last night unveiled as the inaugural Oxygen Influencer of the Year.

Having joined Pax8 in 2021 as a Solutions Engineer, Daisy has been promoted several times to now head up the cloud marketplace’s EMEA Solutions Consultant team.

She previously worked as an engineer in the energy sector, before resolving to join a more dynamic industry.

Daisy featured in IT Channel Oxygen’s recent ‘Oxygen Influencers’ report, which was designed to highlight 25 individuals driving positive change in the industry, but from outside the boardroom (see here). It was compiled in partnership with Nebula Global Services.

At its year-end awards last night, The Channel Community invited IT Channel Oxygen to give out a special award for Influencer of the Year. It was dished out by event compere Toni Kent.

We felt Daisy encapsulated the spirit of Oxygen Influencers as well as any of the 24 other remarkable individuals who made the cut for Oxygen Influencers.

Richard Eglon, CMO of Nebula Global Services, said:

“The impact Daisy has made since joining the IT channel only a couple of years ago has been extraordinary and she thoroughly deserves to be recognised as ‘Influencer of the Year’ at The Channel Community Awards.

“Her multiple promotions within Pax8 have been testament to her resilience, passion and high performance. Daisy’s positive impact demonstrates how much talent there is available outside of the industry, and its role models such as Daisy who will contribute to the future success of our amazing industry.”

Some 16 of the inaugural Oxygen Influencers attended a celebratory VIP Lunch last week. See the best images from the event here.
