Who are the people inspiring positive change in the IT industry, but from outside the boardroom?

You can meet 25 individuals doing just that in the inaugural Oxygen Influencers, which IT Channel Oxygen compiled in partnership with Nebula Global Services.

From the former PE teacher who is now closing £1m-plus IT infrastructure deals, to the young analyst using warmth and humour to disarm senior executives on ESG and D&I, each has an inspiring story to share.

Oxygen Influencers is a power list with a difference – the twist being that our motto was ‘no CEOs allowed’.

These 25 women and men are lighting up the IT channel not because of the executive positions they hold, but because of their ability to influence and inspire those around them.

Oxygen Influencers have either:

  • Gone above and beyond on schools outreach or attracting new talent into the industry

  • Led the way when it comes to ESG or D&I

  • Progressed swiftly to hold important roles in their company or been earmarked as leaders of tomorrow

  • Achieved something out of the ordinary

Propelling change

In the report, we catch up with each of the 25 to find out more about their careers to date and thoughts on how this industry can attract more next-generation talent.

We also asked them who they themselves would nominate to be in a project like this.

Richard Eglon, Nebula
Richard Eglon

“I would like to congratulate all those talented and passionate individuals who made the inaugural list of Oxygen Influencers,” said Richard Eglon, CMO at Nebula Global Services.

“As I read through the interviews, it became very apparent to me that this is a group of people who are propelling change as a collective, with a sense of belonging and purpose.”

If you were compiling a list of role models capable of inspiring the next generation of industry talent, it probably wouldn’t feature the CEOs (as even the CEOs themselves would be first to admit).

It would be the 25 people featured in Oxygen Influencers.

Who are these 25 role models that are inspiring positive change in the industry? Read the report find out.
