Misco calls up OConnor after 20-year hiatus

Misco is more than just a next-day delivery reseller, Kieran OConnor has asserted after rejoining the business following his departure from boxxe.

OConnor was this morning unveiled as Solutions Sales Director of the Wellingborough-based outfit, which claims to offer a portfolio of 50,000 tech products.

“Misco are very well known for what they’ve done over the last 38 years, which is to sell product and get it next day, competitively priced,” OConnor told IT Channel Oxygen.

“But they’ve actually got quite a well-established solution business around cloud, data centre and networking.

“My role is to continue to grow that and make sure we’re involved in the areas that customers want us to be as the market evolves.”

Having been successfully revived following its fall into administration in 2018, Misco broke £120m turnover in 2025, according to a recent LinkedIn post by MD Adam Muir.

It ranked 51st in the recent Oxygen 250 2026.

OConnor said he would be assuming some of the duties previously handled by recently departed Group Sales Director Lee Dutton.

OConnor left his previous role of Head of Solutions Sales at boxxe last June, having joined it as part of its 2024 acquisition of Total Computers (where he was Sales Director).

He worked for Misco between 1993 and 2007.

“I was head of sales when I left there, and I find myself back here helping them build out their solutions team, which is something I’ve enjoyed doing at Total and boxxe,” he said.
