Candice Arnold has hailed Bytes Software Services’ “commanding position” after joining the giant Microsoft partner as its CMO.

Arnold’s CV includes stints at several Microsoft-focused MSPs, most recently London-based Wanstor. She was also the CMO at QuantIQ.

Talking to IT Channel Oxygen, Arnold indicated her mission is to “sharpen” Bytes’ identity and “make it unmistakable”.

Reporting into Bytes’ MD Jack Watson, she will also work closely with Sam Mudd, CEO of the wider Bytes Technology Group. It ranked 3rd in Oxygen 250 2026.

Arnold claimed there is “no better time to be part of the Bytes story”.

“Services attach rates are rising, AI consumption models are reshaping commercial conversations, and resilience has finally moved to a strategic business imperative. This allows Bytes to step into something more consultative, more accountable, and decidedly more outcome led,” she said.

“These are the points that compelled me to join the team: a commanding position with over £2bn in gross invoiced income, and the financial discipline that comes with being a listed business, the foundations here are genuinely strong.”

Arnold characterised Bytes as “the UK’s largest Microsoft partner”, adding that it has a 92% customer retention rate.

“What excites me most is the opportunity to sharpen our identity in the market and make it unmistakable,” she said.

“The channel has no shortage of competent operators. What is scarcer – and in my view more valuable – is a business that can articulate clearly who it is, what it stands for, and why customers should trust it not just to transact, but to transform.”
