Advania UK’s top team is now 40% female following the IT solutions provider’s move to appoint a new CFO and CMO.

Ranking tenth in Oxygen 250 2026, Sweden-headquartered Advania is now a £450m-revenue business in the UK following its quickfire acquisitions of Content+Cloud, Servium and CCS Media.

The Microsoft, VMware, HPE and Cisco partner has made several changes to its UK leadership team in recent months, following the departure of CEO Geoff Kneen and CFO Andy Insley last Autumn.

Now it has bolstered its SLT with two external appointments in the form of ex BT bigwig Sabrina Harris as CFO and Trend Micro alumnus Tara Allison in the new role of CMO.

The double hire boosts female representation across Advania UK’s SLT to 40%, at least while group CEO Hege Støre plays the role of acting UK CEO (the fourth female within Advania UK’s 10-strong SLT is Chief People Officer Thea Fineren).

Operating across Sweden, the UK, Norway, Iceland, Finland and Denmark, Goldman Sachs-backed Advania’s total revenues reached SEK 15.1bn in 2024.

“We have built a strong position in the UK in a short period of time,” Støre said in a canned statement.

“These appointments are about building on that foundation.

“Sabrina brings the financial leadership needed to support disciplined growth and performance, while Tara will play a key role in strengthening how we show up in the market and how we connect with customers.”
