Node4’s newly appointed CEO has paid an immediate tribute to late predecessor Neil Muller, praising his “energy, ambition, and belief he brought to Node4”.
Serge Lupas was today unveiled as the new top exec at the £180m-revenue “AI business solutions and managed service provider”, which ranked 19th in the Oxygen 250 2026.
He has been tasked with “building on the foundations” put in place by Muller, who passed away in June just two months after he was appointed as CEO.
Providence Equity Partners-backed Node4 saw revenues for its year to 31 March 2025 fall 3% to £182.2m amid dampened appetite for new IT solutions. It has 1,700 customers and 1,100 staff.
Previously CEO of Cyclomedia Technology and before that Kantar Media, Lupas brings “extensive experience scaling global organisations”, Node4 claimed.
“While I didn’t know Neil Muller personally, I’ve heard a great deal about the energy, ambition, and belief he brought to Node4,” Lupas said in a statement
“I have real confidence in the strategy and the direction that has been set. My immediate focus is to listen, learn and work alongside colleagues and customers and help accelerate the momentum already underway.”
Patrick De Smedt, Non-Executive Chair, added:
“Neil Muller led Node4 with enormous energy and conviction, and he is deeply missed. In Serge, we have found an experienced leader who recognises the strength of the strategy Neil helped shape with the Board and Executive Team and has the capability to accelerate its delivery for our customers and our people. Our strategic direction remains unchanged. Serge joins us to build on the strong foundations already in place and lead Node4 through its next phase of growth.”
