Node4’s Microsoft prowess gives it a “powerful foundation to build from”, its new boss Neil Muller has asserted.
Former Daisy, Digital Space and Computacenter boss Muller was this morning unveiled as CEO of the Derby-based MSP, which ranked 19th in Oxygen 250 2026.
He succeeds Richard Mosley, who himself only took the reins in December 2024 following founder Andy Gilbert’s decision to step down.
Providence Equity Partners-backed Node4 saw revenues for its year to 31 March 2025 fall 3% to £182.2m amid dampened appetite for new IT solutions. It has 1,700 customers and 1,100 staff.
In line with other AI-themed makeovers at channel partners including Advania and Insight, it is now styling itself as an “AI business solutions and managed service provider”.
“Node4’s position within the top 1% of Microsoft Inner Circle partners gives us a powerful foundation to build from,” Muller said in a canned statement.
“There’s a real opportunity here to scale the business while staying agile, original and firmly customer-focused.”
Muller has been tasked with “sharpening” Node4’s strategy and boosting its AI-augmented managed services platform, alongside ERP, CRM and data analytics solutions.
He was most recently CEO of Digital Space, and before that helmed Daisy Group for three years. His CV also includes a 21-year stint at Computacenter, including four years as its UK MD.
At the same time, Node4 announced that Patrick De Smedt will succeed Chris Woodhouse as Non‑Executive Chair.
“I’m delighted to be joining at this point in the journey and to be working alongside Neil and the leadership team, as Node4 continues to evolve in a fast-moving and competitive market,” De Smedt stated.
