Samsung has added a third UK distributor for its mobile client devices in the form of TD Synnex.
TD Synnex will slot in alongside incumbents Westcoast/Data Select and Exertis, meaning Samsung now works with all three of the UK’s largest distributors (according to IT Channel Oxygen data).
Having returned to top-line growth in its fiscal Q2, TD Synnex expects its sales to “further accelerate” in the second half amid a Windows 11 and AI-driven PC refresh.
The agreement sees TD Synnex gain access to Samsung’s laptops, tablets and smartphones for the enterprise and business to business markets.
The focus will be on driving sales into the SMB market for Samsung devices, TD Synnex said
“TD Synnex has unrivalled reach into SMB with self-service online tools and programmes specifically designed to meet the needs of partners focused on this segment of the market,” James Reed, managing director – endpoint solutions, UK and Ireland at TD Synnex, said in a canned statement.
“With its extensive reach and a reputation for delivering reliable service and excellent business development support, TD SYNNEX has all the qualities required to help Samsung drive incremental revenue growth in the business market,” James Kitto, vice president, head of Samsung’s MX (Mobile eXperience) division, UK and Ireland, added.
“This agreement will make it easier for B2B partners to access our products and deliver the benefits that our laptops and mobile devices offer to customers that want the best performance, versatility and return on their investment in technology devices.”
