Do you agree with the ABI’s assertion that every company should have cyber insurance?

We agree with the ABI that cyber insurance is becoming a necessary part of doing business in today’s threat landscape. But it’s important to recognise that insurance is just one part of the recovery process, not the strategy itself.

A policy doesn’t stop an attack, and it doesn’t rebuild trust with your customers. That’s where operational resilience comes in. It takes technology, expertise, and trusted partners working together, before, during, and after an incident.

What role do MSSPs like Secon play in cyber insurance?

As a cyber security partner, we sit alongside both the client and the insurer. We help prevent incidents where possible, contain them when they happen, and give businesses the clarity they need to recover quickly.
