Deals announced in 2025: At least 3 (‘Acquisition A’ – July, ‘Acquisition B’ – July, Acquisition C’ – August)
Deal magnitude: It paid £1.9m, £33m and £3.3m, respectively
Appetite for M&A
While other private equity-backed MSPs put M&A on ice, this Coventry-based Microsoft partner remained firmly on the acquisition trail in 2025.
It now claims to have 800 staff and support 45,000 users.
Accounts for Zenzero’s year to 31 March 2025 (signed off on 5 November 2025) reveal it has made at least three unnamed purchases since its year end.
This includes what appears to be a sizeable purchase of a ‘cyber security firm in Poole’ in August (for a day-one consideration of £33m). It also shelled out £1.9m and £3.3m on a ‘software development firm based in Leeds’ and a ‘Microsoft SharePoint delivery partner based in Cambridge’, respectively.
Macquarie-backed Zenzero saw revenues soar 79% to £66.9m in its year to 31 March 2025. It made three purchases during the period in the form of Neuways, Exmos and Quostar. Recurring revenues fell from 78% to 75% of the total.
