3. Redsquid

Deals announced in 2025: 6 – Itek Systems Management (April), Penstone Communications (April), Computer Security Technology (April), RedMosquito (September), Cyberseer (November), CJAZ (November)
Deal magnitude: 7 employees, 6 employees, 15 employees, 20 employees, 14 employees and 4 employees, respectively
Appetite for M&A
This acquisitive MSP wrapped its tentacles around another six of its peers in 2025.
Although Redsquid gets credit for the sheer number of deals it did, their relatively small scale (they had a combined headcount of around 66, according to our calculations) precluded us from ranking it top.
The pick of the bunch was arguably Cyberseer, a SOC provider whose addition to the group in November “changes everything”, according to Redsquid CEO Sohin Raithatha. It also made two Scottish acquisitions in 2025 in the shape of Itek and RedMosquito (boosting its Scottish team to 40).
What they said
“This [acquiring Cyberseer] is a transformation that changes everything. No other UK MSSP unites IT, cloud, and cybersecurity capabilities with a proprietary 24/7 MDR platform and does so as a certified B Corp and Cyber Essentials Governing Body,” – Redsquid CEO Sohin Raithatha
Background bulletin
Redsquid’s revenue runrate rises “towards” £25m-£30m on the back of the Cyberseer deal, it confirmed to us.
