Titan Data Solutions claims its quest to reach £100m revenues has been given a shot in the arm by an executive double hire.

The distributor today confirmed it has poached Exertis Enterprise Sales Director and Finance Director pairing Phil Browne and Matthew Croucher, in a move predicted by IT Channel Oxygen in October.

They have taken on the respective roles of Sales Director and CFO at Canary Wharf-based Titan, which characterises itself as a “specialist distributor for edge to cloud solutions and services”.

“Our inspiration”

Browne and Croucher had been at Exertis Enterprise and predecessor brand Hammer for 22 and 19 years, respectively.

In October, while stopping short of confirming the news, Titan CEO Ben Jackson acknowledged that Exertis Enterprise “were our inspiration” when he was writing the business plan for Titan back in 2018.

Scale Computing, Seagate Systems, Quantum, Supermicro and Hammerspace ally Titan turned over £30m in 2024, but is aiming to break the £100m barrier by 2028.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Titan at such an exciting time in their story,” Browne said in a canned comment.

“In a short space of time, they have cemented their place as a renowned specialist in the UK channel. My focus will be on driving revenue growth by identifying new customer types and markets while empowering our sales team to exceed expectations by providing the type of service only a flexible, privately owned distributor can offer.”

Croucher added: “Since their inception, Titan have consistently achieved double-digit annual growth rates and in my role I will deliver a strategy that supports and drives the customer-centric focus of the business and ensures that this trend continues in a controlled, stable and sustainable way.”
