8. boxxe

boxxe generated 51% of its 2024/25 £300m public sector sales from defence, where Tussell said buyers rely on resellers less than the rest of the market.
Central government (19%) was its next largest public sector sub-vertical, followed by the NHS (10%), transport (8%), local government (7%) and blue light (5%).
Ranking in 12th Oxygen 250 2026, York-based boxxe is chasing £1bn revenues following its blockbuster acquisitions of Total Computers and CAE.
Defence funnelled just 15% of its Tech Titan procurement spend through resellers in 2024/25, according to Tussell.
The MoD’s tech procurement is “more heavily weighted towards complex, secure and integrated systems”, meaning it favours direct relationships with technology providers, systems integrators and defence primes”, it noted.
boxxe is the MoD’s largest reseller, however, capturing 66% of its reseller spend in 2024/25.
