There’s been growing scrutiny over the dependency of UK business on US tech infrastructure. Is this something your clients are talking about, and do you expect any to change course in light of recent events?

UK organisations are rightly reviewing their exposure to global hyperscalers as data sovereignty, regulatory pressure and geopolitical uncertainty continue to rise.

What we see at Bell is not a retreat from US cloud technologies, but a shift towards smarter, risk-balanced architectures – blending hyperscaler innovation with sovereign controls, hybrid models and clear governance.

What’s your advice as an independent trusted advisor?

Our role as an independent IT services partner is to help UK firms navigate this complexity pragmatically: assessing workload risk, strengthening control over sensitive data and designing cloud strategies that remain secure, compliant and resilient without compromising on capability.
