UK revenues: £1.81bn

CEO appointment: Sam Mudd

Context

Mudd told IT Channel Oxygen she will be “exploiting my prominence as a female CEO” after she was appointed to lead this giant software licensing specialist in May.

Mudd was handed the interim CEO role in February following the abrupt departure of predecessor Neil Murphy.

She recently revealed she expects Bytes Technology Group to break the £2bn sales barrier in its current fiscal 2025.

What she said

“I feel that it’s absolutely key that I continue to build a very diverse workforce and provide a legacy for future female talent. There are only a handful of FTSE females. I’m very conscious of that and want to use that platform to be a good role model for the future.”
