4. DSP

PE acquirer: LDC (from YFM)

Date: September 2023

Deal size: DSP boasts revenues of £30m and 200 staff

Rationale

The UK IT channel’s most active private equity investor made a “significant investment” in this Oracle partner in September as it replaced incumbent YFM.

Having enjoyed “strong and consistent” growth with YFM (which funded five acquisitions), DSP will now lean on LDC as it targets expansion in North America and Europe.

LDC currently backs no fewer than six UK MSPs and IT solutions providers in the form of DSP, Aspire, Acora, Red Helix, Kerv and Onecom.

What they said
