Computacenter’s last annual results statement brought news that its gross invoiced income exceeded £10bn in 2023.

If breaking the ten-figure barrier meant anything at all to Norris, he didn’t let on in his CEO commentary (perhaps his comment on a previous IT Channel Oxygen post below says it all).

But what the achievement does illustrate is just how rapidly Computacenter has grown on the back of a North American spree that has taken in FusionStorm (2018), Pivot (2020) and Business IT Source (2022).

Talking to IT Channel Oxygen in April, Norris said the global market is consolidating around “six big VARs” in the form of WWT, SHI, CDW, Insight, Bechtle and Computacenter itself.

In September, Norris said Computacenter has become “the most diverse reseller in the world”.

“That’s just a fact – other [resellers] are centred on fewer countries,” he said.
