“Is this the UK’s most acquisitive MSP?”, IT Channel Oxygen dramatically asked in November as Flotek announced its ninth deal inside 18 months.

Founded as recently as April 2022, the Cardiff-based MSP has since made two more purchases, namely of Truro-based Orbiss (December) and North Wales-based OES (February).

The latter had a turnover of £3.1m, pushing Flotek’s top line to more than £10.5m and headcount to 80 staff.

What they said

“This acquisition [of OES] will boost our growth and visibility in the area and, crucially, will allow Flotek to enter the managed print and web business and develop our provision for the legal sector while supporting OES with access to a robust Telecom offering,” – Flotek CEO, Jay Ball

Flotek usually targets acquisitions with turnover of between £350,000 and £2m.
