Nebula Global Services has signed its inaugural global vendor pact, linking arms with physical security specialist Verkada.

In a move it trailed in June, the channel services provider will attach its outcome-based services to Verkada’s range of cloud-managed enterprise building security and management solutions.

The fresh partnership will help position Verkada’s resellers as key partners to their end clients, the duo claimed.

Nebula recently revealed it was in the process of finalising its inaugural vendor partnership. It claims to have access to a global ecosystem of around 7,400 engineers.

Vendors who take on a global services delivery partner such as Nebula can “hyperscale” their services propositions through the channel, its CMO Richard Eglon said at the time.

In the first example of such a partnership, Nebula has now secured Global Premier Services Partner status with Verkada.

“Aligning with Verkada showcases how Nebula supports fast growth vendors with robust, global go-to-market service strategies,” Nebula CEO Ross Teague said of the partnership.

“Attaching Nebula’s outcome-focused services offering to Verkada’s best-in-class product range provides Verkada’s reseller community with an enhanced value proposition, positioning them as key partners to their end clients.”

Market opportunity

According to P&S Intelligence the global video surveillance market is set to generate $58.5bn in revenue in 2024 before reaching $99.7bn by 2030 (representing a 9.3% CAGR).

Specialising in video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace and intercoms, Verkada claims to work with over 26,000 organisations globally.

“We are delighted to partner with the Nebula team to enhance safety in the communities we protect together. Teamed with their strong outcome-focused services, we are supporting Nebula’s mission to be leading service providers for current and future customers,” said Ben Watkins, Director of EMEA Channel at Verkada.

“As a Premier Services Partner, Nebula is a member of the Verkada Premier Services Network (VPSN). This means Nebula is recognised for their exceptional design, installation and support service capabilities across the Verkada product range.”

The news comes after Teague ran IT Channel Oxygen through his growth aspirations for Nebula, which he founded during lockdown.
