Giacom is offering MSPs a “game-changing opportunity to jump into connectivity” through its new Easy Switching offering.
That’s according to its MD of Connectivity Dale Parkinson, who claimed connectivity and mobile are two markets IT MSPs can easily move into in partnership with Giacom.
Designed for the channel, Giacom Easy Switching is billed as a simpler way to migrate broadband services with minimal disruption, and is exclusively available on Sky Business Wholesale broadband.
Its launch comes after Sky Business Wholesale appointed Giacom as a distributor in 2023.
“We think Easy Switching is massive game-changing opportunity for MSPs to really jump into the connectivity market,” Parkinson told IT Channel Oxygen (see full interview, above).
“It can sometimes be perceived as a bit of a heavy-duty product line to sell and manage.
“We’ve been working really hard with Sky to find a way at a product level to make that a lot easier for MSPs. The way we’ve done that is by really leveraging a bit of technology architecture in the Sky network which means that in over seven out of 10 cases an MSP will not need to swap out the router in a customer’s premises.
“No other vendor in the UK market has this capability and it’s exclusively available via Giacom.”

There has “never been a better time” for MSPs to enter the connectivity market as the 2027 the PSTN switch-off looms, Parkinson argued.
And yet the connectivity space is currently dominated by telcos, a status quo Parkinson said Giacom is determined to change.
Giacom has stood up a managed services team to offer free help to partners with estate migrations, he emphasised.
“We know that in the comms space seven out of 10 mobile and connectivity contracts are still going directly to the big telcos. We know that smaller MSPs and resellers provide that strategic wrap to customers, which is a much better experience,” Parkinson said.
“We’ve got an opportunity and a platform – and now in connectivity a product. You put all those components together it’s a once-in-a-career moment.”
“I want your readers to know that we’ve thought comprehensively about the barriers to entry for MSPs,” he concluded.
